Tims evaluation
The film was very fun to shoot appart from having to get out of my warm bed to go and film. I was basically co-director as well as costume designer, co-cameraman, script writer and storyboarder. Nick was the director as well as actor, Kris was cameraman, actor and editor. Lachlan was the equitment tech. I don't think that the work was shared as best as it could have been but things turned out very well and some people that did more didn't mind. There were many challenges that we had to over come such as things being delayed dues to heavy rain and people not being able to meet up. We overcame these things by waiting until there was a sunny day and organising filming times far in advance. Creating a media product is a lot harrder then i previously thought but it is just as satisfying as i thought it would be watching a very well done film.

This session we filmed the scenes when "Robbo" has to find the highest peak to climb and find his bearings.
Kris' Project Evaluation
I contributed to the production by taking on the roles of mainly camera operator and editor but I also did some other tasks such as helping write the script and helped choose the costume for Nick, I also played the part of 'Steve the Cameraman'.
Nick played the role of the Main character, he also co-wrote the script and directed the film.
Tim wrote the script and the storyboard and also filmed some of the scenes.
Lachlan was the equipment manager and also supplied the equipment such as camera, tripod etc.
Jarrad did nothing as he was not here most of the time, he did help choose some of the initial props but they were not used in the final product.
Yes I would say that work was shared equally, with the exception of Jarrad.
The challenges that we faced were timing schedules being interrupted by bad weather, and being abe to meet up at the same time to get access to the cameras and equipment.
I have learnt that creating a Media product is a lot harder than it seems and is a lot more stressful and demanding.

Last session we presented our short film to our media class, we watched the film off of my laptop at that time because we couldn't render it then. We played it off Sony Vegas in full-screen mode. We believe that it was quite highly received and I consider it a success.

Tonight I finished the editing for "Manchild vs Wild". I just need to add the two sony vegas files together because I made two separate files with different parts in them. I also found out how to add a credits scene in sony vegas, so I also added that too.

Today after our filming we went back to Nicks house to get started on the editing. We put together the ending scene for our short film but still need to work on the middle parts as I have already done the intro. We encountered a problem because Sony Vegas did not have the correct rendering templates that we needed, most likely due to the pirated version that we got off of Jarrad. We decided we would just have to show the class our video made full screen on Sony Vegas instead of exporting it into a mp4,avi or wmv file.

Today we finished the rest of the scenes for our short film "Man-child vs Wild", I filmed most of the scenes with Tim filming a few of them and Nick filming a scene from his own handheld camera. I continued my voice acting work of "Steve the Cameraman"and Tim also made a cameo appearance as another character. It started raining today whilst we were filming and unlike other days when we would have called it off we had to work through the rain as it was the last day. We finished filming around 7:30 or 8:00.

Tonight I tried to edit some of the filming that we did during the day but for some reason it wasn't working and it had missing files and wouldn't open properly. The problems arose because I copied the files over to my home computer since I don't take my school laptop home, I'll need to try and get the editing done during the school day since it's not working at home.

Today I edited the short film, I arranged the scenes in order and put the voice overs and the background music in. We also planned a shooting schedule, we plan to film tonight and try to get a lot more of the scenes done. I had to space out the voice overs a lot more than I had anticipated because the video clips were too long for the audio. We also planned out some more scenes for the end of the film.

Today I edited the footage that we took yesterday, I cut the footage into the pieces that we needed and I also arranged the clips in order of the introduction speech, then Sony Vegas stopped responding, then my battery run out, then I started charging it and while I was waiting for the program to begin responding my computer blue screened and I didn't get to save all of the footage that I had done.

Last session I added to the storyboards aswell as writing the script. After doing what i could Nick, Kris and I proceeded to record our voice overs for the film and I did what i could when it camee to editing. Once the weekend came up we met at coles, went to the creek and began filming. I was incharge of filming while also giving plenty of advice and instructions to the actor on ways he could do a scene and how a scene could be shot. When at the next lesson we overlooked the scenes we managed to gather, though not many because it started to rain, and Kris, i think put them together and we decided how the film will take place.. -Tim

Last session i explored various ideas for how the film could be played out and discussed many things with my team mates on how we could play this film out.
I was also researching places on where we could film certain parts of our films

The last session I looked for music on www.incompetech.com to put onto our man v. wild parody short film, I also looked for some music that I could use for our other short films. I found about 5 tracks that could work with it. I also helped brainstorm with the group for ideas for scenes that we could put into the short film. I also helped out with the team to try and record Nicks voice for the monologue, I helped by writing some lines for it.
